"We opened Lake Mac Auto Body in the fall of 2010 because we saw a need for a shop that puts the customer first. Damage to your car or pick-up is a negative experience--we work hard to make sure dealing with us is a positive one. We schedule work promptly, complete a quality job at a reasonable price, and get customers on the road again."

Lake McConaughy is Nebraska’s biggest lake and the largest reservoir in a three state region. At full storage, Lake Mac is twenty miles long, four miles wide, and 142 feet deep at the dam. Built on the edge of the Nebraska Sandhills, Lake Mac offers natural white sand beaches, excellent fishing, boating, camping and all types of outdoor recreation. Let the trail lead you here for family fun in all seasons.
Fishing has long been the primary drawing card at Lake McConaughy, with its cool, clear, deep waters. Game fish vary from sporty rainbow trout to the everyday catfish. Prized most highly by the local angler is the walleye, and Nebraska’s current state record of 16 lbs. 2 oz. came from Lake Mac. The lake plays host to several walleye tournaments each year. Lake Ogallala boasts some of the best trout fishing in the Great Plains region. Its colder temperature and well-aerated water that passes through the dam make ideal conditions for trout. In recent years, Game and Parks officials have also stocked wipers, a cross between white bass and striped bass that provides excellent fishing action.
The Clear Creek Wildlife Management Area is located 5 miles east of Lewellen on Hwy. 92 and 1 mile south. Managed by the Wildlife Division of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, Clear Creek is widely known for excellent Canada goose hunting. The area includes a 2,500-acre waterfowl refuge on the North Platte River, a 600-acre controlled waterfowl hunting area and some 2,000 acres of public hunting lands on the west end of Lake McConaughy.
